International Student Christmas Party

guest blogger:  Mrs. Vicki Schrader, ELL Dept Head

On Dec. 9th, International students celebrated the season with a party. Organized by students for students, about 30 students joined in the festivities, decorating cookies, piecing together puzzles, stomping on balloons, and winning prizes while enjoying gingerbread, poppycock, and pumpkin pie among a variety of other goodies, music, and fellowship.

It was a smaller group than usual, but a good time was had by all.

As we prepare to break for the Christmas holiday, International students are invited to share their ideas and requests for the new year with International student coordinator, Mrs. Schrader. Email her at

Special thanks to all teachers in the ELL department for their continued support with International students and lunches. Huge thanks go out to this month’s group of student organizers. Your efforts and energy make all the difference!
