Five Days of Fire

During the week of October 24 – 28th our school had a spririt week called Five Days of Fire. Everyone in the school participated and all students and staff were divided into 4 houses which were: red, blue, green and yellow. Each house had activities at lunch, brought donations of canned food and money, and particated in our big day on the wednesday. Everyone dressed in their colour and students council sold bandanas, pom poms, and coloured spray for hair to get everyone in the swing of things. Many students painted their faces in their house colour.  Participation and excitement were very high especially on the wednesday when we held four assemblies. There were lots of games and activities including musical chairs and a tug of war. Our Student Council did an excellent job of getting everything organized.  Kudos to them and their teacher sponsors.   Lots of great spirit Firehawks!
